How Two Ponds Farm Began:
In the summer of 2016, my family moved from New York City to a small town in central Wisconsin. I was working in the city (commuting over 4 hours each day!) so we decided to move to the country to enhance our quality of life and so I could spend more time with my family. I am now self-employed, allowing me to work part-time and watch my daughter part-time (the best of both worlds!). My husband and I were raised in the country and wanted our daughter raised in a similar environment. We fell in love with our property the first time we saw it. Our land contains a pine plantation, hardwood forests, a marsh, fields, two windmills, a barn, and of course, two ponds. This site started out as an addition to my Etsy shop. I have since closed my shop to focus more on my part-time job and writing blog posts about my experiences on our hobby farm. Thank you for taking the time to visit my site!
